All About HPO Fundraisers

With great community support since 1994, Hagemann Elementary has become a unique and favorable place for learning.  An outstanding staff and excellent support of our HPO mission has had a lot to do with this success.

Over the past five years, HPO has returned approximately $83,000 to the students and faculty of Hagemann Elementary.  In fact, a Mehlville School District Board member visited an HPO Executive Committee Meeting in 2010 to understand more about our HPO program as a model for other district Parent Organizations.

Money raised by HPO in the past few years has paid for field trips, classroom gifts, staff appreciation, stage lighting, and sound system upgrades, overhead projectors and video/DVD players in classrooms, smart boards, tutoring, playground equipment and much more.

How is this possible?  We never stop asking for your support and involvement.  And, you never stop supporting us.  During a typical school year, HPO sponsors 11 events and six fundraising activities.  Some activities occur more than once each year.  The general breakdown of HPO fundraisers, sponsored events and volunteer opportunities is as follows:
